Our tool design department utilizes state-of-the-art CAD software for the efficient use of material, tighter tolerances and faster turnaround time. Product development and plotter-cut samples are available. FAST utilizes web-based material for high-speed production and sheet material for specialized production.
Skilled master-craftsmen make our steel rule dies in-house allowing us to provide you with higher standards of excellence and efficiency. Fast Industries can create custom steel rule dies to specifications with rapid turnaround.
- Die Cutting
FAST can die cut sheet and web-based plastic in any configuration including kiss-cuts and strengthening ribs. Through the use of our high-speed rotary converting systems, we can produce extended runs of finished product, lowering production costs and meeting delivery requirements. With a variety of presses, we can run specialized orders as well as longer runs.
- Folding
FAST has the equipment to fold just about any PVC product. Our process includes manual heat folding—ideal for small custom jobs requiring special handling—and both automated cold and heat folding with high-speed capabilities.
- Materials
We use all virgin materials—PVC, polyethylene and polypropylene; 7-30 mil thicknesses and more. Colors are available, including custom-match. We are able to formulate other qualities, such as Dust Resistance.
Orders and product specifications are stored electronically to speed reorders with the same precision and quality as the original.
